Using Macmillan Practice Online
Can I access the course from different computers?
Yes, with your login details you can log into your course from any computer with internet access. You can only be logged in on one computer at any one time.
Do I need an internet connection to access Macmillan Practice Online?
Yes, you need to have internet connection to use your Macmillan Practice Online course.
How are the resources scored?
The resources are automatically scored and the student will instantly receive their score as well as the option to view the answers and try the resources again.
Are scores saved?
Students’ scores will be saved in their Markbook/ Gradebook for them to access at any time. You will also be able to access them if the student is part of one of your Macmillan Practice Online classes.
How many students can be in a class?
There is no limit to the number of students you can have in each class but each student in a class must be following the same course.
How can I use Macmillan Practice Online with my class?
There are many ways you can use Macmillan Practice online with your students. You could use the content during computer lab classes, set it as homework or use it with your projectors or IWBs during the lesson. Please click here to read our guides.
Can I add more than one course to my class?
Yes, you can assign various courses to a class.
Once you’ve logged in, click on the name of the class you wish to add a course to and then 'Edit class details'. Select the additional course you would like to add from the list and then click 'Add to class' and ‘submit’.
Students who have bought this course will be able to join the class you have created using the same class password.
Can I access the resources in my students’ courses?
If a student is part of your class then you can access the resources in their active courses.

I can't see the resources, why?
If you cannot see the resources you might need to download Flash or Java which are both free to download, you can find them by searching for them in a search engine.
